Transitions Canada Coalition Launches new Website for Career Month 2018

Transitions Canada Coalition (TCC) is proud to launch its new website during Career Month 2018!

TCC is a not-for-profit that mobilizes and supports education, business and industry, career and workforce development professionals, with other education ecosystem stakeholders, to identify, enhance, test, and scale game-changing innovations to better prepare students to transition from school to success in 21st-century careers and life.

TCC is now mobilizing partners to collaborate on two projects:

  1. Transitions is a highly engaging, full-colour, hard-copy and interactive digital career and labour market information tabloid to be developed in partnership with SIEC's Relevance magazine in Saskatchewan. It will be free for secondary and post-secondary teachers, students, and parents, and for career professionals and their adult clients across the country. Through true stories of real people it will illustrate major trends now reshaping the working world. Wherever they are now in school or beyond it show them know how they can 'test the waters' in learning and career pathways aligned with their passions. And it will feature the global competencies we all now need to live happy and fulfilling adult lives.

  2. PowerPlay Young Entrepreneurs is an entrepreneurship learning program for Grade 4-8 students. It creates magic in the hands of classroom teachers as they challenge and guide students in creating and selling their own unique and highly creative products. Once students begin to see themselves as entrepreneurial, there's no stopping them! Here's the trailer of a documentary on Young Entrepreneurs called Mindset Matters

Look through the rest of our site and do let us know what you think! If your organization would be a great coalition partner send us a note at the bottom of the homepage.

Happy Career Month 2018!
